5 morning rituals for success

The first few hours of your morning will set the entire tone of your day. At MyPayNow, we want you to be the best version of yourself. That’s why we believe practising healthy habits and punctual routines are the key to helping you set yourself up for success 🔑.
1. Make your bed
Making your bed is a simple task that will provide a quick sense of accomplishment and set a positive tone for the rest of your day. In fact, it’s proven to be one of the smallest acts that can change your life (read any self-help book and they will touch on this). By implementing this approach, you’ll improve your productivity and achieve more of your daily tasks🥇.
2. Get your body moving
When it comes to the right time to work out, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer. However, an early sweat session will have loads of benefits for your mind and body. In addition, it’s scientifically proven that a pre-breakfast (see tip 4 😉) workout will reduce stress later in the day. Starting your day off with more endorphins, also known as the “feel-good” hormone, will be one of the best things you can do for your route to happiness & success.
3. Try a cold shower
Ok, we get it...why would anyone want to put themselves through such a shock on a cold winter morning? Believe it or not, there are heaps of chilly perks to cold showers. Including reducing symptoms of depression, improving circulation and metabolism, preventing muscle soreness, and relieving localized pain. So don’t shy away from adding a lil cold spray to your routine after that morning workout...brrr 🥶.
4. Don’t skip breakfast
Starting your day with a healthy breakfast is key to setting yourself up for a full-filing (😋) day ahead. Whether you opt for a bowl of cereal, yogurt, or fruit, the added nutrients are essential to begin the day off on the right foot. While there are numerous health benefits associated with eating breakfast, the important thing to remember is that it leads to setting up the morning right. After all, food is fuel 💪.
5. Practice gratitude and set daily intentions
It’s no secret that practising daily intentions and efforts in showing gratitude are the perfect duo to prepare your mind & body for the day ahead. Did you know, 90% of illness is stress-related?
