Father’s Day Gift Guide Under $100

It’s that time of year again…Father’s Day! We’re not sure how we got here so quick, but nevertheless, we’ve arrived. It doesn’t make it easier that dads can be extra difficult to buy for, they seem to have everything they need or buy everything they want! While it would be ideal to shower them with an abundance of gifts, we also acknowledge that times have been tough, and budgets might not be what you’re used to. That’s why we’ve curated a gift guide for sweet deals under $100!

For the BBQ master

We don’t mean to stereotype, but most dads love a BBQ of some sort. If this is your dad, put together the ultimate BBQ kit just for him, including his favourite sauces and seasonings. Not only is this idea useful and thoughtful, but this should come well and truly under your $100 budget. If you do have some extra coin put aside, some quality BBQ utensils would be a great add on!

For the beer enthusiast

What dad doesn’t love a fresh cold beer? Whether it’s craft beer, special import or your stock standard, there’s one thing for sure – it needs to be crisp. If your dad can relate, the YETI Stubby Holder will be his new best friend. Coming in well under budget, the crème de la crème of stubby holders is an affordable and guaranteed win for dad *chefs kiss*!

For the larrikin

If your dad loves a laugh and doesn’t take himself too seriously – this one’s for you. We’re going to do a spin off the classic #1 Dad mug, and upgrade to some personalised family merch. There are plenty of websites out there where you can create your own custom merchandise, using your own photos. Take some photos of yourself, with or without your siblings or even the rest of the family and have everyone’s face printed onto items such as socks or t-shirts. He may or may not wear it, but he will certainly get a kick out of it!

For the sentimental

Kids grow up so fast, and old habits are forgotten. If there was something that you and your dad used to do together when you were kids, try and recreate it as adults. For example, if your dad taught you how to ride a bike, plan a bike ride together, stopping in for lunch somewhere along the way. If your dad played soccer with you, take him to a live game. You get the gist, but this will be extra special and mean more to him than you know!

If you forgot to put funds aside for a present, or you want to splurge on something extra special, but it exceeds your weekly budget, use MyPayNow for a payday advance.
