How much will it cost me?
We only charge a 5% fee on your advance. Plus, 24% interest per annum until your advance is paid.
For example:
- If you took out a $100 advance for 7 days, you’d pay back:
- Flatfee:$5
- Interest:$0.48
- Total=$105.48
- If you took out a $100 advance for 28 days, you’d pay back:
- Flatfee:$5
- Interest:$1.93
- Total=$106.93
We do not charge missed payment, late payment, direct debit or any other hidden fees, it’s that simple.
Are there any hidden fees?
Nope! MyPayNow doesn’t charge any direct debit, failed or missed payment fees, account keeping or monthly fees.
Why can’t I access all my wage?
MyPayNow provides you with a portion of your wage to allow you to handle unexpected expenses whilst ensuring you
are
within your means for repayment.
What is the minimum amount I need to earn before I can apply to MyPayNow?
The minimum income required to use MyPayNow is $450.00 take home per week, $900.00 a fortnight, or $1950.00 per
month.
How much can I advance?
MyPayNow allows you to advance up to a quarter of your regular wage (up to $2,000).
How do you determine my advance limit?
Our system uses state-of-the-art AI to identify income and spending patterns to determine affordability and
suitability.
Once identified, your advance limit is determined as a quarter of your regular wage (up to $2,000)!
Why can’t I get more than my approved limit?
Your approval limit is based on your identified income and affordability assessment. If you receive a pay rise
and would
like access to more funds - simply update your employment details for us to reassess.
Can I get an advance when my only income is Centrelink?
Unfortunately, not. MyPayNow is a wage advance service, meaning you will need to be receiving regular income
from an
employer.
How do I pay back my wage advance?
A direct debit is automatically scheduled to come out of your nominated bank account on your next pay day.
Alternatively, you can make a debit card payment.
What time do direct debits come out of my bank?
Our direct debits are processed by a third party, meaning they can be attempted at any point during the day.
What are the direct debit fees?
There are no direct debit fees at all!
How much do you charge for a missed payment?
$0! We do not charge any missed or failed payment fees.
How long does it take to set up an account?
It takes about 5 minutes to set up your MyPayNow account. Once set up, it only takes 60 seconds for your advance
to be
deposited into your bank account.
What do I need to set up my account?
You will need:
- Your mobile phone number
- Your email address
- A valid form of Australian ID (e.g. an open driver’s licence, Medicare card or passport)
- The date and amount of your last wage deposit
- Your internet banking details
- The bank account where your salary is deposited into. This account must have 70 days’ worth of bank transactions.
Does MyPayNow do a credit check?
No, there is no credit enquiry made on your file with a Credit Reporting Agency.
Does MyPayNow contact my employer?
Nope! We only deal with you, never your employer.
